Our eligibility and claims payment applications are tightly
integrated. We also provide full electronic updates of eligibility information to
other service providers and carriers in standardized HIPAA transactions.
Accounting and Eligibility System
Our accounting and eligibility system is flexible and can facilitate various combinations
of benefit options and unique billing requirements, such as:
- Hour banks
- Dollar banks
- Banks of shifts
- Minimum hourly plans
- Composite rate plans
- Tiered rate plans
In addition, we have the ability to joint bill for all benefits
provided on the same monthly employer billing. Our system parameters allow for factors such
as unique delinquency rules, COBRA, retiree billing and administration.
SQL-Based Client Server Environment
Our billing and eligibility systems operate in an SQL-based client server environment.
The application provides for direct online real-time updates to all changes made within the database.
Through Microsoft® Passport secured web portal, our application provides:
- Online access for employer billing updates
- Online enrollment options for participants, including school information updates
- System edits and controls
- Flexibility in handling newer benefit options and requirements
Extensive Reporting Capabilities
This application also has extensive reporting capabilities,
which allow consultants and other qualified service providers direct access to a web-based
reporting tool where they can:
- Schedule, format, and choose delivery options
- Make reports to various insurance or benefit providers using HIPAA standard EDI transactions
as desired by each vendor
Employer billings are handled via an online interface or through more
traditional means (paper remittances) for those who do not choose to access the information via
the web portal.
