plan sponsored by their industry or trade association.

different plan options to their participants.

and an increasingly mobile workforce, billing and collecting each employer's
payment and tracking the plan choices of each employee can be a daunting task.
Associations: Claims Administration

NWA is an approved claims payor with the
major stop loss insurance carriers and has established long term working relationships
with the predominant managed care organizations.
Associations: Customized Insurance Premium Reporting
When NWA is not the claims payor for the Association, the
eligibility data is transferred to their insurance carrier(s) or managed care provider(s).
This complex function is accurately and cost-effectively performed with our customizable
administrative system, which accommodates HIPAA compliant Electronic Data Interchange (EDI),
host-to-host transfer, paper or Internet communications.
Associations: Retiree Plan Administration
NWA provides a high level of service to those Associations
that sponsor Retiree Medical Programs. We provide a high level of customer support
to the individual retiree and assist each one to:
- Set up individual medical benefit accounts
- Arrange individualized payment methods including electronic funds transfer
- Answer questions by phone or in-person at our Claims Service Center
We coordinate their retiree program with benefits that
may be available under COBRA or from Medicare, and continue to provide assistance
when retirees move out of the area.

Employee benefit plans must comply with numerous State and Federal regulations.

NWA's eligibility system provides for direct
online real-time updates for all changes made within the database.
Employers have online access for billing updates and online enrollment options are
provided for participants and employers through a Microsoft® Passport secured web portal.
